Part of the National Forest Walking Festival, a 6.5 mile walk from Hough Mill along parts of William Jessop’s 1794 tramway to the ill fated Charnwood Forest Canal, packed lunch in Newbold, return via the 1833 Coleorton (horse drawn) Railway.
