The Friends look after the ruins of an Augustinian nunnery suppressed during the Dissolution Of The Monasteries in 1536.  It was subsequently converted into a manor house before deteriorating into a ruinous state.  The ruins were conserved in 2003 and are open to the public during daylight hours.

Visitors to the Priory can park on the Bull’s Head car park with kind permission of the management.

The Friends provide guided tours by arrangement and sel publications.
