Who we are

The Sir John Moore Foundation is an independent and enterprising charity seeking to make creative, contemporary use of Sir John Moore’s gift and legacy.

What we do

Manage, maintain and bring to life our Grade I Listed property & provide opportunities for local people to develop their skills and share their passions.

How we do it

By supporting local people and partners to deliver a diverse mix of activities through grants, self funding and commercially viable means.
“Our heritage is our foundation! It is the buildings, grounds and people that have made the Foundation what it is today. We care for our building using local people and expertise. We learn more about Sir John Moore’s legacy through research – and share it with others through the activities that we offer. Our heritage underpins all that we do on site and we are proud to be a part of it”.
