This Grade 1 Listed building has been in (almost) continual use as a school since it opened in 1697. Part of the building is now a museum of local history, the life of Sir John Moore, and the history of the school itself. Our collection includes (amongst lots of other things) Headmasters’ Logbooks, Punishment Books, Schemes of Work from across the 20th century, Victorian handwriting books, and even the Trustees’ minutes from 1697 to the present day.
