Swannington Heritage Trust own five sites of fascinating mining, rail and milling history connected by scenic footpaths through Swannington. Features include Hough Mill, a 200 year-old lovingly restored windmill, mining sites and Swannington Incline which is the western end of Robert Stephenson’s Leicester and Swannington railway. Our volunteers host regular events and you can enjoy daily walks through our 14 acres of woodland and heathland.
